A heritage of 3 generations of expertise

Perpetuated for 90 years, the brand's core values place an inclusive personnel policy, a flexible senior policy, and a continuous flow of around 10 apprentices at the center of its practices. Since 1933, Skovby has trained over 250 individuals in the field of furniture production.

The origin of this family business dates back to a small rural village in Denmark. Thorvald Rasmussen, a young and talented cabinetmaker full of dreams, initiated a modest furniture production at his mother's place in Skovby. Gradually, the business expanded and ultimately thrived. In 2023, the leadership of Skovby is in the hands of the third generation, the grandsons Preben and Jørgen Rasmussen.
