The creation of the Bultex material dates back to the early 1970s. In a furnishing foam factory, a laboratory assistant mixes different components in a bucket containing a residue of glue. The resulting chemical reaction, a material with amazing properties, challenges the researchers.

They have replicated the experience and improved the result to finally get a foam with exceptional resilience. The Bultex is born! It is from 1984, date of birth of the brand Bultex, that it will be used for the manufacture of mattresses.

Bultex is today in the top three of French favorite bedding brands. To maintain this recognition, products are constantly improved, both in the design and in the choice of materials. The research teams, in close collaboration with the University of Ghent, have carried out dorsometric studies on a large population. These analyzes of the dorsal curvature allow to manufacture morphological mattresses, favoring rest and relaxation of your whole body.
